Worship
"This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you,
the builders, which has become the cornerstone.
And there is salvation in no one else,
for there is no other name under heaven
given among men by which we must be saved."
We come to worship to praise the name of Christ alone, the One worthy of praise!
~ The scripture lesson for Sunday, October 19,
is Acts 4:1-31.
The sermon title for Sunday, October 19,
will be "No Other Name."
~ On Sunday, November 2nd, we will receive our Thank Offering. ~
This offering will be designated by our Mission Committee for local needs.
Our speaker for that morning will be
Rev. Gary Koerth with Hope for Renewal.
Gary will speak to the combined adult Sunday School Classes
and then again briefly to the congregation during worship.

Saturday, 18th - Fall Work Day, sponsored by the Trustees, open to assistance by anyone! There will be a bulletin insert on Sundays Oct 5th and Oct 12th. Please fill out the form and return to the offering plate or Ralph Oakes.
Sunday, 26th - BLESSING BAGS! We begin collecting nonperishables for the FEED MY SHEEP Food Cupboard in Slippery Rock. There will be an insert with suggested items in the Sunday, Oct 19th bulletin. All donations will be due on Sunday, November 9th. Bags may be returned to the table in the Stone Fireplace Room.
Friday, 31st- Community Soup Supper, 4:30- 6:30 pm. Your choice of soup, crackers/bread, dessert and beverage. Free and open to the Community.
Sunday, November 2nd - Soup Luncheon. Fellowship Hall, following worship. Come to worship, stay for food and fellowship! We will have a guest Mission Speaker for this service and lunch - Gary Koerth from Hope for Renewal.
